But Chevy Traverse owners still reported timing chain problems later on their SUVs were serviced under the Customer Satisfaction Programme (CSP) 10287. It turned out that the trouble was with the timing concatenation on some, but non all, 2009 Traverses.

Owners were still bringing their Traverses into dealers running crude, with their check engine lights on. If the timing chains stretched desperately plenty, their vehicles were completely losing ability on the road.
